Our Foundation
The Helicon Institute of Higher Education stands apart — not merely as a place of learning, but as an institution where legacy is currency, tradition is law, and excellence is the minimum expectation.
Founded in 1957 by Henry L. Conzemius in northern Massachusetts, Helicon was built upon a singular conviction: that the world's future leaders deserve an environment as extraordinary as their ambitions. Nestled among rolling landscapes with architecture that rivals Europe's finest institutions, Helicon has cultivated generations of power.
Our campus breathes history. Every corridor, every hall, every manicured lawn carries the weight of decades of achievement — and the quiet understanding that entry here is not merely academic. It is a birthright, earned or inherited.

Social Orders
At Helicon, social structure is not incidental — it is architecture. Three fraternal orders define campus life, ambition, and belonging.
Old Money. Older Blood.
Legacy students from families whose names predate modern banking. The Pantheon occupies the absolute summit of Helicon's hierarchy — their wealth, influence, and social dominance are beyond question, beyond challenge, and entirely beyond your reach unless your bloodline says otherwise.
New Wealth. Hungry Eyes.
The new-money elite. Wealthy, connected, and acutely aware that they are one rung below the summit. The Carthego are polished enough to move through elite circles, yet ambitious enough to sacrifice anyone in pursuit of Pantheon recognition. Do not mistake their charm for safety.
Earned. Scarred. Feared.
The scholarship brotherhood. They clawed through prejudice and institutional contempt to claim their place at Helicon — and they made sure it cost something. The Argona are not celebrated here, but they are respected in the way that only genuine danger commands.
Academic Life
Helicon's academic reputation rests on a simple principle: the world's most capable students deserve the world's most demanding education.
The beating heart of the Institute. Home to the largest lecture halls, community study spaces, and the central secretariat. Every student passes through its marble corridors — though not all are welcomed equally.
A vast archive housing any text, manuscript, or reference a student could require. Staff maintains strict decorum — though the upper floors and roof access remain conveniently un-policed, a Helicon tradition unto itself.
The Institute's technology and science wing. Cutting-edge facilities for research, practical engineering, and applied sciences. For those who find that knowledge is its own kind of power.
Helicon's arts sanctuary — painting, pottery, music, theatre, and history housed within the campus's most peaceful building. A rare quiet in an institution that rarely sleeps.
Athletics
Ice Hockey
Dark Blue & Gold
The pride of Helicon's ice. Trust fund athletes with enough aggression to make it dangerous — and enough charm to make it fascinating. The Hellion Glaciers dominate Hadrian's Palace and the hearts of most of campus.
Baseball
Black, Purple & Gold
The cerebral sport of Helicon's heirs. The Olympian Crowns hold court at the Theseus Stadium — a complex so well-funded it includes a private spa wing. The game may be gentlemanly. The players are anything but.
Campus Life
Helicon does not simply educate. It immerses. Every corner of campus is designed to remind you exactly where you are — and who you're becoming.
The pinnacle of Helicon accommodation. Private library, personal cafeteria, arcade, pool. Approximately 100 apartments reserved for Pantheon members and select elite guests. The rest of campus knows better than to ask for a tour.
Home to the Carthego and upper-tier students. Luxurious without reaching Mount Olymp's heights — which, for the 700–800 residents here, is a distinction they're very much aware of.
Helicon's central campus quad. A decorative water pool, memorial statues, manicured greenery. The public face of the Institute — beautiful, curated, and entirely misleading about what goes on after sundown.
Any text ever published. Staff with impossibly rigid posture. Certain corners of the upper floors that are, technically speaking, unsupervised. The roof access, which has been "broken" for years.
Helicon's grand assembly hall. Galas, formal events, theatre productions, and orchestral performances. If you're important enough to be invited, you already know when the next event is.
Officially: an unused building. Unofficially: the social center of Helicon after dark. Location known to everyone. Access, conditional. What happens inside, between those who were there.
Beyond the Gates
The culinary heart of the surrounding area. Weekly markets, international street food, intimate cafes, and restaurants that require reservations made weeks in advance — which Helicon students rarely have to wait for.
A shopping mall that has entirely reoriented itself around Helicon's student body. High-end boutiques, luxury labels, and staff trained to recognize immediately who belongs and who is simply curious. The experience varies enormously based on your dormitory address.
The Social Layer
Helicon's private social network. Every student has an account. Gossip, rumour, exposure, and reputation — all traded anonymously in real time. Hellsite is not monitored. It is not moderated. It is, however, completely unavoidable.
Whatever you do on this campus will eventually appear there. Plan accordingly.

Admission to The Helicon Institute is not a transaction. It is a recognition. Of lineage, of merit, of potential — and of the understanding that what is offered here carries an obligation to excellence.
For families whose names are already engraved somewhere on campus. The process is thorough, the standards are real — and the expectation that legacy students will uphold Helicon's reputation is absolute.
Helicon accepts a select number of students each year based on exceptional academic record, community standing, and demonstrated leadership. These students join Delphi and forge their own path within the Institute's hierarchy.
The Institute offers a limited number of athletic and academic scholarships each cycle. These positions are among the most competitive in the country. Recipients should be prepared for an experience that is, by design, more demanding than most.
Applications for the next academic year are reviewed on a rolling basis. The Admissions Office is located in the Helios Building.
